Bout of Books 32: 16 to 22 August

It’s time for another Bout of Books Readathon, and I am attempting to participate once again.  I have been too successful in the past, but as long as I get SOME reading done that’s a win, right?!

I will be at work Tuesday to Friday, so I know I won’t get a huge amount of reading done on those days, but I am aiming for at least 30 minutes of reading per day.  Hopefully Monday and the weekend will see me reading for much longer, but let’s not tempt fate!

As for a TBR, I’m currently almost 100 pages into Kololo Hill by Neema Shah, so I would like to finish that by Friday.  After that, I would really like to read Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf.  I have recently been binge watching Claire Fenby on YouTube, and this is one of her favourite books.  She is so enthusiastic Mrs Dalloway that she has definitely inspired me to pick it up, though I have to admit I am slightly intimidated by Woolf … I’m not sure I’m clever enough to understand her writing.  But we shall give it a go and see how we get on (especially as I have recently purchased the absolutely stunning Vintage Classics Author editions of her books … no excuse!

If you’re participating in Bout of Books, I’d love to hear what you’re planning to read!
