So, it's a new year ...

so it must be time for another blog post!

We'll not dwell in the past, let's just look forward!

Aims for the year 2013: blog more, move more, read more, cook more, create more, DO more, eat less, grumble less ...

Number one on the list of creating more: I've decided to attempt Project Life. I'll be doing it digi style, using the Seafoam digi kit in conjunction with the myriad of freebie digi bits out there! At the end of the year, WHEN I have a huge pile of weekly pages in a neat little folder on my mac, I will send them off to be printed into a photobook, and we will have a fabulous record of the year 2013! (yep, that's the plan ...) Here is my title page - I used some bits from the Seafoam kit and some freebie bits from Cathy Zielske plus some brushes found on the internet ...

I like it!

Other forthcoming plans: a sampling of recipes (the aim is one a week ...) from the gazillion recipe books that are causing my shelves to bow; a sampling of art journal pages and videos from Art Journal Caravan and A Year in the Life of an Art Journal; a monthly snapshot of my photos for Fat Mum Slim's fabulous daily photo challenge (so far so good!) ...

No promises, we'll just see how things go ...

Right now, I'm off to document all the little things that happen in everyday life!

Nice title page! The black and white photos fit perfectly with those digi pieces. I was going to use that same set, but for some reason it felt too Cathy Zielske to me... but you did a good job of making it look your own!
